Conservation Permits
First, conservation permits are available to purchase. These permits are 100% tax deductible. They are provided by Utah’s Department of Wildlife Resources; and they are auctioned through conservation groups such as Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife, and Mule Deer Foundation. Aside from the financial benefit these tags offer, you get to hunt the best units in Utah while contributing to it’s wildlife management.
Auctions for these permits begin in February and continue through May. We keep a close eye on what permits are on auction, and are ready to assist you in this process.
Landowner Permits

Third, the 2022 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo $5 permit application is now open. All applications for these permits must be submitted online ONLY! You must validate your application at the Expo between February 10-13, 2022 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. So apply today, then plan on coming to see us and our booth to validate in February.
